What do you love most about your role at trak?
trak is the secret weapon in the mission to attract top talent in Cincinnati. Most of the time, the best person for the gig is not actively looking, so we provide an incredible value by opening the talent pool to candidates that clients might never see on their own. I genuinely enjoy learning about client needs and challenges, because I am fascinated by what makes teams work. When you get the right person in the right seat, metrics take care of themselves and companies grow! When I learn about the pros and cons of culture, general challenges, strengths of existing team members, what skills and attributes are missing on the team, my recruiting partners here at trak are able to better qualify and deliver candidates who are happy in their roles and who perform. My favorite part of my role is reaching out after a placement to hear that the candidate that my team placed with them is still there, and exceeding their expectations.
What is the best piece of advice you give to your candidates and/or clients?
- When you meet an A-player for your role, do not second guess yourself--move quickly.
- You’ve conducted an exit interview when someone leaves, but have you conducted a “Stay Meeting?”
