What do you love most about your role at trak?

I work primarily with employed candidates who are passively looking, which means I might work with someone for one week or one year before we find the right fit for them. Emphasis on the right fit. The goal isn’t to put bodies in chairs. The goal is to connect candidates with opportunities that will better their lives in the long run, not just the meantime.

What is the best piece of advice you give to your candidates and/or clients?

Commit to the process. Like anything in life, you get out what you put in, so if you’re a job seeker, actively or passively looking, commit to the interview process once it starts. You never know where a conversation could lead. And if you’re a hiring manager, commit to hiring when you meet someone you like. Don’t miss out on good talent by interviewing comparisons for comparison sake.
